A family violence evaluation_ is usually recommended or ordered by the court, the solicitor, district attorney, probation officer,or the Department of Family and Children Services. _ A family violence evaluation_  is used to determine the severity of the
individual’s anger, the pattern of violence, and danger posed to all victims. The process includes an assessment tool and a face-to-face interview with a clinician
